Chris Lake Baptism
If you are a believer in Christ that has yet to be baptized, then August 17th is a date you will want to remember. Every year LSC baptized approximately 30 to 40 individuals at this church-wide gathering. It is a great opportunity for believers to follow Christ through baptism. If you would like more information, please contact the church office or speak with a staff member. Also, the children's required class for baptism, I'm A Christian Now, will begin on July 17th.

Connections Class
This class is designed for those new to LSC or those new to our LifeGroups. For individuals 40 and up, our 9:30AM class will be tailored to meet their needs. For individuals 40 and under, our 11:00AM will be a great fit. There is no need to sign-up or call ahead. Simply show up and we will be ready. Each of these class will be going through "The God Questions" curriculum.

Men's Breakfast
Join the men of LSC for a Men's Breakfast the second Saturday of each month. With great food, music, and speakers, you don't want to miss out. Add the fact that there is no cost for all of this and you can't afford to miss out. There is no need to RSVP, just show up in the Chapel at 7:30am on the second Saturday of each month with a healthy appetite.

LifeLink
The next LifeLink will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2008. For more information or to sign-up, please contact the main office at 402-292-4546.

Praise & Power
Begins Sunday evening, September 14th, for children 1st through 6th grade.

MOPS sign-up
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is for mothers of children ages birth through kindergarten. MOPS meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month. Childcare is available, but limited, so call ahead to register. Registration information is listed at www.freewebs.com/WBCmops.
