Inspiration Island - 1st through 5th grade

Island 6 - 6th Grade

Sunday Bible Study -- First through sixth graders meet in age-graded classes to have fun, make positive friendships, and discover biblical truths that will shape their lives for eternity. Along the way, they are nurtured to begin a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

AWANA Club -- During the school year, this Wednesday evening club for elementary children focuses on Scripture memory, recreation, awards, and sharing the Good News. The club also includes activities such as camp outs, game competitions, and the AWANA Grand Prix.

Vacation Bible School -- Each summer hundreds of kids attend our Vacation Bible School. Each VBS is built around a theme which includes Bible stories, crafts, recreation, refreshments, missions, music, and fun!

Children's Camp -- Each year, during the last week of July, our children who have completed 2nd through 6th grade have week-long camp in South Sioux City, Nebraska. This week of fun, recreation, crafts, Bible study, worship, and missions is held at the Goodwill camp. For more information, please speak with Kelly Wallace, our Preschool/Children's Minister.

Pre-School

The "Heavenly Harbor," -- "nurturing future fishers of men."

Heavenly Harbor Philosophy -- Infants, Babies, Toddlers, Preschoolers, and Kindergartners begin their understanding of God, Jesus, the BIble, and the CHurch during the preschool years. They begin to feel security, trust and love as they are cared for, taught, and loved by a committed staff of teachers and volunteers. This is much more than a babysitting service; we design inviting classrooms and teach lessons to communicate important biblical truths to each youngster.

Our Preschool Curriculum -- Age-graded curriculum is designed to meet the developmental needs of your child. Active, hands-on learning takes place through our learning-center approach to preschool instruction. Throughout the year, teachers focus on eight concept areas in the weekly sessions: God, Jesus, Bible, Creation, Family, Self, Church, Community, and World.

LSC provides free preschool care for Sunday School, Life class participants, and worship services.
